Creating WhatsApp templates in Fivegrid is a straightforward process designed to help you streamline communication efficiently. This guide will walk you through each step to create, manage, and delete templates seamlessly.
Log into your Fivegrid account.
Navigate to the "Templates" tab in the main menu.
Select "Create New Template" to start building your WhatsApp template.
Enter a descriptive or your template.
Tip: Avoid using special characters such as -/*& to ensure compatibility across platforms.Choose the appropriate type for your communication needs:
Marketing: Ideal for introducing new products, promotions, or special offers.
Transactional: Best for sending updates, confirmations, or details about existing products.
In the "Message Body" field, input clear, concise, and meaningful content.
Keep the message professional and relevant to engage your audience effectively.
In the "Button Field," choose "None" if no action is required.
To add interactive buttons, select "Call to Actions" from the dropdown menu.
Available Button Types:
View Document: Enter the button name and upload the file.
View Website: Enter the button name and provide the URL.
Watch Video: Enter the button name and upload the video link.
Locate the "Header Image" option.
Click to upload an image from your browser.
Ensure the image is relevant and enhances the template’s visual appeal.
Review the Preview Section to see how the message will appear to recipients.
Double-check text, images, and buttons for accuracy and alignment.
Once you're satisfied with the template, click the "Submit" button.
A confirmation message like "Template Created Successfully" will appear.
After submission, your template will display a status:
In Review: The WhatsApp team is reviewing your template.
Live: The template is approved and ready to be used.
Note: Templates can only be used in workflows after achieving Live status.To delete a template:
Find the template in your list.
Click on the delete icon next to it.
Confirm the deletion when prompted. A message like "Template Deleted" will confirm successful removal.
